Plastic bottle Catamaran Sails into Sydney

July 27, 2010

Yesterday a catamaran made from 12 500 plastic bottles sailed into Sydney Harbour.
The Plastiki has journeyed from San Francisco to Sydney to raise awareness about plastic waste in our oceans.

You can see The Plastiki at the Australian National Maritime Museum for the next month.

Listen Now - Katrina Roe spoke to the Skipper and only female crew member, Jo Royle, about what it's like to sail The Plastiki.
