Remarkable Progress of Separated Bangladeshi Twins

July 26, 2010

It was an emotional reunion yesterday when surgically separated twins, Trishna and Krishna were reunited with their Bangladeshi mother for the first time since they were left in an orphanage as babies.

Mum Lovely Goldar was unable to care for her high-needs conjoined twins, who were not expected to survive.  However thanks to their foster mother, Moira Kelly and her charity, Children First Foundation, the twins have received 13 operations and much needed therapy.

Listen Now - Katrina Roe spoke to the CEO of Children First Foundation, Margaret Smith about the happy reunion and the twins' remarkable progress.
