Film Review: Invictus
February 8, 2010
Invictus; It’s the Latin word for “undefeated”, and the stirring name given to a new film about how Nelson Mandela used the sport of rugby, to help unite black and white South Africans after the end of apartheid.
With such a weighty subject, combined with Clint Eastwood in the director’s chair, and Morgan Freeman in the lead role, it sounds like the makings of a classic.
